Captian Vikram Bhatra (9 September 1974 - 7 July 1999).
He was one of the older twin sons of their parents.
From his childhood, he was in love with the Indian Army. Even his school was under Army compartment so whenever he sees the Indian Army's Parade his soul gets encouraged.
He completed his graduation in Science from Chandigarh's D. A. V college and become the best candidate in NCC.
After that he prepared his mind to become a Army Officer and for higher education, he went to Punjab University, there he married Ms. Dimple and after their marriage, his journey of becoming an Army Officer started.


He even passed the Mercent Navy Exam ,and got job but his heart has always been beaten for Indian Army.

There is not a single person in this world who doesn't know about the Kargil war hero Vikram Batra who is known as Sher Shah.
On 6 December 1997, Vikram Batra went to Jammu and Kashmir for his first mission.
 He completed commando training and was selected for the Kargil War.
On 1 June 1999, the first unit was won by Vikram Batra. 
Seeing him confidently, officer announced him as a Captain "Captain Vikram Bhatra ".
After that on 19th June 1999, some Pakistani forces came under the leadership, and 5140 were snatched away.
It was one of the biggest losses for the Indian Army.
After that, the Pakistani Army started firing on the Indian Army.
Seeing this, Captain Vikram Batra went on to point 4175, which was far from the
C level and was at 1700 feet.
At this time,the war had begun,and the mission was nearing completion.
And then his junior Naveen got injured by both of his legs.
Vikram Batra went there to saved Naveen and he said, "You should go away, you have your wife and child."
At that moment, Vikram Batra got shot in the chest.
And this lion of India was martyred on 7 July 1999.
Due to his glorious victory he was also know as 'Shershaah'. 

Based on his victorious story a movie has also been filmed "Shreshaah".
