Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal Get Death Threat On Social Media?

YES, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal received death threats from an unidentified person on social media. Mumbai police have registered the case against the man at the Santacruz Police Station. It is not yet known what the threat to their lives side, however, Katrina and Vicky have not commented on the matter in the public domain as yet.

Vicky lodged a complaint at the police station against a person who has been threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram. He also stated that the accused has also been stalking his wife Katrina and threatening her. The case has been registered under section  506 (2) (criminal intimidation, 345 (D) (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 67 (transmitting obscene material) of the Information technology Act, 2000.

Vicky and Katrina recently returned from the Maldives after celebrating Katrina's Birthday. The couple tied the knot on December 9, last year. Well, being a celebrity receiving death threats and random calls is not uncommon for stars. Earlier, superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan got threats in the form of a letter. The letter said that the father-son duo will meet the same fate as Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala who was murdered in May. 

According to the report, the Bishnoi gang wanted to extort money from the superstar. In the latest development, Salman recently met Mumbai Police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar. It is being said that the actor has applied for a weapon license amid the death threats. Besides Salman, Swara Bhasker also received threats for her life, following which Mumbai Police launched a probe into the matter.
