Narendra Modi Inauguarated the new corridor of Ujjain

 The Jyotirling in the Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

The Ujjain Mahakal Corridor has been prepared, and the corridor is afraid of supernatural and spiritual stories in the pictures.

                                    

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the corridor on Monday, 10 October 2022. And after visiting, he said that we are satisfied with whatever work we have done today.

PM Modi inaugurated the new corridor of Ujjain today at 6:30 pm on the day of 11 October.

Budget for making Ujjain Mahakal Corridor

The corridor of Ujjain Mahakal temple will be built in two phases. Out of that, the work of the first phase of the Mahakal corridor has been completed, in which 350 crores have been spent. 750 crores will be spent on the construction of the Ujjain Mahakal Corridor.

Description of the corridor:-

Mahakal Corridor is 900 meters long. The corridor has 108 rooms, 192 statues, and 53 murals.

There are 3 main gates in the Mahakal corridor.

1) Majestic Gate

2) Nandi Gate

3) Pinaki Gate

The artwork of Lord Shiva is shown on the wall at Nandi Dwar, Nandi idol has been installed on both sides of the door. The corridor starts from Nandi Gate.

Artworks of Shiva Tandava, Shiva Vishpaan, and Shiva-Parvati Marriage have been installed on the wall of the corridor with some paintings and some idols. 

Rudra Sagar and Kamalkund have also been prepared in the corridor.

In front of the Kamalkund, the Spad Rishi Mandal has been made. 

According to the legends of the Puranas, Sage Spada was the first disciple of Lord Shiva. All of them were initiated by Mahakal.

A lot of artists' hard work has been done in making the artifacts and sculptures on the corridor wall, all those corridors were forgotten in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Odisha.

108 places have been made in the Mahakal corridor, and special stones were brought from Rajasthan to make them. Apart from this, whatever stones were used in the Ram temple, the same stones have been used in the construction of the Ujjain Mahakal corridor.
